Melton Waves Leisure Centre was opened in 1995 and is proudly managed by Belgravia Leisure on behalf of the Melton Shire Council. Melton Waves is proud to be the only Leisure Centre in Melbourne’s west with a wave pool! Enjoy our extensive aquatic facilities with a total of 7 pools, including pools suitable for toddlers and pools dedicated for lap swimming and hydrotherapy.
The light and airy Health and Fitness Club at Melton Waves Leisure Centre has a state of the art fully equipped gym, catering for all aspects of fitness training with a number of membership options available. The Group Fitness Classes are the essential motivator; with over 50 classes a week there is definitely something for everyone.

Melton Waves Leisure Centre can cater for Birthday Parties at our Shark Shack Café for a fuss free fun time. Making fitness easier for parents to commit to our registered Crèche is available for sessional and occasional care, a fun way for all to enjoy Melton Waves Leisure Centre.

Melton Waves in conjunction with AIPT -Australian Institute of Sport will be running courses 3 times a year for people wanted to become qualified Gym Instructors & Personal Trainers.

Young children who learn to swim in swim schools, are more confident, smarter and more social than children who don’t swim, according to Professor Robyn Jorgenson who has just completed the early Years Swimming Research Project at Griffith University, Queensland. She says testing and survey results confirmed that children who participate in early years swimming were scoring significantly better at the developmental tests than normal populations.
